    Trump’s Wild Claim About Migrants Eating Pets Stirs Controversy

    During a recent debate, Donald Trump made a bizarre and unfounded claim about Haitian migrants eating cats and dogs in the U.S., which sparked laughter from Kamala Harris on stage. The odd statement came when Trump was questioned about his decision to block a bill that would have secured the southern border. Instead of addressing the question directly, Trump shifted the conversation to an outlandish accusation.

    In response to Kamala Harris’ earlier comment about people leaving Trump’s rallies, he falsely claimed that no one attends her rallies unless they are bussed in and paid by the Democratic campaign. Harris responded with a smile, looking puzzled by the accusation.

    Trump then went on a rant about undocumented migrants, particularly Haitians, stating that they were harming pets in Springfield, Ohio. His statement left many, including Harris, stunned and amused. She shook her head in disbelief, unable to suppress her laughter.

    ABC News moderator David Muir quickly fact-checked Trump, pointing out that the city manager of Springfield had confirmed no incidents involving pets being harmed by migrants had occurred. Despite the clear debunking, Trump’s claim continued to attract attention, with political pundits noting that Harris had effectively handled the situation, overshadowing Trump for the rest of the debate.

    The wild accusation, alongside Harris’ composed reaction, became one of the most talked-about moments of the debate, with many commentators highlighting it as a significant point in Harris’ favor.
