In a tragic discovery on Monday night, Czech police found 30 migrants in the back of a truck on a motorway between Prague and the German city of Dresden. The truck was intercepted during a routine stop, and one of the migrants was found dead.

The Czech Republic is a common transit route for migrants trying to reach Germany and other affluent European nations. Police were alerted to the situation after reports that one of the migrants had died. All individuals found in the truck have been detained, with no information indicating that anyone managed to escape.

Emergency services, including private emergency service ASCR, were called to the scene. They attended to a woman, approximately 30 years old, who was unconscious. Despite resuscitation efforts lasting several minutes, a doctor declared her dead. The remaining migrants were reported to be in poor health but did not require hospitalization.

The Czech authorities continue to investigate the incident and ensure that the migrants receive the necessary care and support. This event underscores the ongoing challenges faced by migrants traveling through Central Europe in their quest for safety and better living conditions.
