In an effort to bolster the integration of refugees and migrants into the workforce, UNHCR Hungary is spearheading an expansive job fair slated for May 16. The event is strategically designed to serve as a platform for fostering direct connections between refugees, migrants, and potential employers or agencies.

Attendees of the job fair will be afforded invaluable opportunities to engage in face-to-face interactions with employers, thereby fostering meaningful connections and enhancing their chances of securing employment. The event will showcase a diverse array of job openings spanning across multiple sectors, including manufacturing, hospitality, tourism, logistics, and construction, allowing individuals to explore various career paths and employment opportunities tailored to their skills and interests.

Moreover, UNHCR will provide comprehensive support services throughout the duration of the event, including personalized guidance on crafting effective CVs and letters of motivation to help applicants present themselves in the best possible light. Professional photography services will also be available to assist attendees in creating polished CVs that stand out to potential employers.

Additionally, participants will benefit from valuable insights into career development strategies and labor rights, equipping them with the necessary tools and knowledge to navigate the job market successfully. Furthermore, UNHCR will offer valuable information on the employment landscape for asylum seekers, refugees, and foreign nationals in Hungary, along with resources and opportunities for Hungarian language learning.

Importantly, participation in the job fair and all associated activities will be completely free of charge, ensuring equal access and opportunity for all individuals seeking to pursue employment opportunities and professional growth in Hungary. By eliminating financial barriers, UNHCR aims to promote inclusivity and empower individuals from diverse backgrounds to thrive in the workforce and contribute to the socio-economic fabric of their communities.
